MTO has initiated the Design Design for the four-laning of Highway 69 from the Magnetawan River northerly to north of Highway 522. This project is a continuation of the Route Planning and Environmental Assessment Study (W.P. 5377-02-00).
This project involves the design and construction for the four-laning of Highway 69 from Magnetawan River to North of Highway 522, including:
- 19.3 km of four-laning for Highway 69 on new alignment and twinning sections
- Construction of new interchanges at Bekanon Road and Highway 522
- Reconstruction and resurfacing of 15.1 km of existing Highway 69
- Provisions for a MTO Patrol Yard at the new Highway 522 interchange
This project is a continuation of the Route Planning and Environmental Assessment Stuy (W.P.5377-02-00).
This study is following the approved planning process for a Group 'B' project under the MTO Class Environmental Assessment for Provincial Transportation Facilities (2000).
